Sustainability

Sustainability, with numbers

Installing solar panels doesn't make us sustainable by default. What does is how we install them, how we treat the people who install them, and what happens to them 30 years from now.

01

Environmental impact (2025)

  • Energy produced by systems we have installed

    1,010 GWh.
  • CO₂ avoided

285,000 tonnes, using the Iberian grid's average emission factor.
  • Our own footprint (scopes 1 and 2)

3,900 t CO₂e, 81% of it from our fleet of 520 vehicles.
  • Fleet

    34% electric or plug-in hybrid vans. 2028 target: 70%.
  • Electricity at our sites

100% renewable; six of our ten sites have their own solar.

02

Waste

  • Packaging

Since 2024 Aster modules arrive on returnable pallets, saving about 210 t of cardboard and timber a year.
  • Decommissioned modules

Handled through an authorised collective recycling scheme. In 2025 we recovered 94% by weight.
  • Batteries

Collection and recycling guaranteed at end of life.

03

Safety

More than 400 people work on roofs every day. Safety is our first metric, ahead of installations per day.

  • ISO 45001

    Since 2024.
  • "The fifteen"

A 15-minute safety talk at the foot of the ladder before going up on any roof.
  • Right to stop

Anyone can stop a job they don't see as safe. In 2025, 1,140 stops were logged.
  • Altura Cero plan

Certified lifelines in every van, monthly harness checks and a ban on stepping on skylights, even protected ones.
  • Sant Boi practice centre

Three training roofs where every installer practises anchoring and rescue before their first job.
  • Lost-time injury frequency rate

    From 21.4 in 2022 to 9.8 in 2025.

04

People

  • 850 people, 14 nationalities.
  • 22% women. In the field, only 6%: we aim for 12% by 2028 with our Electricistas programme, which trains unemployed women as installation assistants.
  • 31 people hired from job-integration programmes in 2025.

05

Sol Compartido

1% of our profit funds free installations for social organisations. Since 2019: 46 installations for food banks, day centres, care homes and shelters, saving them €290,000 a year in total.

Governance

  • Code of conduct signed by every employee.
  • Anonymous ethics channel run by an independent third party.
  • Annual sustainability report.
