Industrial self-consumption · 820 kWp · 2024

A fourth-generation family winery producing 1.9 million bottles a year. Consumption spikes from August to October: presses, pumps and, above all, cooling to control fermentation.

What we did. 1,400 Aster 450 modules on the ageing-cellar roof and 380 Aster 505 Bifacial modules on a carport over the visitor car park, which also shades the wine-tourism visitors' cars. Twenty-six Lumen T30 inverters in two technical rooms.

First-year results (Sep 2024 – Aug 2025):

  • Production: 1,297 MWh.
  • Share of annual consumption covered: 64%. During harvest: 81%.
  • Savings: €168,000. Expected payback: 4.6 years.
  • 410 t of CO₂ avoided.

"Harvest was what worried us most. It turned out to be the month we saved the most." — Arantxa Serralta, managing director.
